It's been 2 years since my father buy me this ultrabook. Before, i only have experiance with HP Pavilion G6 - a very massive and powerful device from 2011. I use it from 2012 to January 2023, when i accidentlly broke his display. anyway, i still use it with HDMI cable.
When i saw this Matebook for the first time, i don't have some impression, because it's don't have a LAN-port, SD-card reader or even CD-ROM, but now this is my main device, and i like it!
Having such small and lightweight notebook, you could place it in the backpack. I have a neck trauma, so this is the best soultion for me! It's have Windows 10 preinstalled, with license key included, so you don't need to care about buying license. For me, to edit some text files, watch animes and make music this is the best device. I have a great experiance with Left 4 Dead 2, PayDay: The Heist and Portal 2. This is an old videogames, but i still like them very much.
For music, i have a Focusrite Scralett Solo Studio audio card, and software like Ableton Lite, Addictive Drums, and Massive Synth works pretty good on this compact device.
Sadly, but MateBooks have some problems with audio on Linux, like this is a problem of Huawei Firmware, and i didn't found any solutions for this.
